Jaga Jazzist – One-Armed Bandit

Norway’s Jaga Jazzist are back with their first fresh material since 2005’s What We Must. Taken from the upcoming album of the same name, One-Armed Bandit is being given away for free by those kind people at Ninja Tune. The album is officially due out on 25th January, and if this first taster is anything to go by, then it’s gonna be bloody amazing!

The Dead Weather – Horebound + Hang You from the Heavens EP + Treat Me Like Your Mother

08年夏天Raconteurs在美国巡演期间，气管炎让他们的主唱Jack White不能独挑大梁，于是就找来了The Kills的主唱Alison Mosshart串几首。而Mosshart在台上牛掰的表现，催生了随后的由White，Mosshart和Queens of the Stone Age吉他Dean Fertita等人的新band “the dead weather”。在一些试验性的ep和小型live之后，the dead weather终于定型。09年夏天，首张专辑Horebound终于发现，踩着流行的Garage风潮，却不乏爆点的一张牛逼专家，当然也不会消失在Ninja staff picks的榜单上。

Clark - Growls Garden

自从Clark的第一张"Clarence park”之后，他的路子就越来越邪，越来越让人听不懂。但这张EP他一改风格，做了一些甚至都能跟bar和club里放的音乐！充分展现了他灰常牛掰的才能，也难怪今年的Ninja Staff Picks会挑中这张EP。

Mos Def - The Ecstatic (2009)

虽说，Mos Def歌跟说唱圈儿混了10年，但这才是他第四张专辑，而且和他上一张，楞隔了6年，我估计肯定不少他的歌迷都慢慢变成了中立歌迷。这张Ecstatic的发行，也是很有风险的，好听了，他就可以被称为是经过6年磨砺出来的The Ecstatic，说不好听了，丫就是没正行磨洋工……还好，他的团队战略很明确，找来了Kenny West，Madlib这路的牛逼制作人，铁定是要这张专辑只能成功，不能失败。

Ninja Tune的09音乐之选

按传统惯例，Ninjatune每年的音乐大单，是本厂年终岁尾不可或缺的大礼。由于平时选歌的时间越来越少，所以看到和自己口味比较贴的，或者自己比较喜欢的艺人、厂牌的大单，就可以省去很多挑歌的时间。反正直到昨天，我还在听NT 08 picks的Deerhunter的Microcastle。 Favourite tracks and albums of 2009 from the Ninja Tune stereo:

去年夏天瓷器回来，带一罗马尼亚大耍回来，叫Mihai，说是能跟丫在德国内边儿喝的跟王八蛋似的那种人。我们很器重Mihai，为了让丫今后有机会更好的融入组织生活，今年开春儿，哥们他媳妇儿过去时候，准备给Mihai带本儿书，书名就叫《niú bī》.

I don’t usually do this kind of thing because it’s largely meaningless but a friend asked me to round up some favourites for the year so here they are. I have to say I’ve been very uninspired by a lot of new music in general this year hence the fact that a lot of this is retro sounding or backward looking and this list is by no means definitive, I’ll probably think of a load more tomorrow.

Thunderheist - Thunderheist [Big dada, 2009]

Club rap, with its leg-humping sexuality and boorish booty beats, seems fairly passé at this point. But the electro-fueled Toronto duo Thunderheist manage to pump life into the exhausted subgenre. On their debut, Isis sings and rhymes with equal verve, transforming from disco diva ("Nothing 2 Step 2") to coke-snorting hussy ("Freddie") to seductive jailbait ("Sweet 16"). Yeah, Thunderheist is all about the quick dance-floor fix, but Isis imbues her characters with quick-witted wickedness, and producer Graham Zilla churns out Spartan synth tracks that have an undeniably funky buzz.

Stonephace - Stonephace

A Made Up Sound - Shortcuts

Dave Huismans（人送外号2562）个人的一些小科研成果，看专辑名就知道，都是一些很短小的作品，一共20首，不能算是一个完整意义的专辑，但确实很精良，即使是一些小片段，minimal techno dubstep齐了喀嚓一揉，感觉也很不错，不像一般意义上的实验作品那么格硬人。这张不是专辑的专辑，也荣登今年的Office Chart '08 。
